Children grow soooo fast-the time literally flies, you blink and they are 6 years old!!! Your little one is only so little for a short time. Every month they change and it is so important to capture those moments, whether with a photo session or your own cell phone. That is why I love milestone sessions, coming back to your house to capture all the smiles & giggles, grabbing of toes, tummy time, sitting up, crawling, standing and walking.
I met Reid when he was just a couple of days old during his newborn session here. Now I came visit him again, as he is already three-months! As I always say, and it won't ever change- my favorite sessions are the ones in your home, the place where Reid will grow so much, from a tiny little man in his parent's bed, to sitting up in his moms rocking chair, then standing in his crib, and to finally running around their New York City apartment.
There are so many new changes in a baby when they hit that three-months milestone. They begin to smile, hold their head steadily, interact with the parents, recognize voices, tummy-time and so much more!
Reid's parents were in the groove - comfortable with him, easygoing and set in their daily routine. As they were lovingly playing with Reid trying to make him smile, I kept on clicking my shutter to try and catch that adorable little smile of his. We captured some images of him down on his play mat playing with his little ball, sitting in his mommy's rocking chair with his favorite stuffed elephant. He was so tired from his photo shoot, that by the time we decided to go and take some images outside, he fell asleep while being carried by his daddy.
As always, these are just some of my favorites and I can't wait to see Reid again for his next milestone session.
