Best Tip To Get Your Kids To Behave During A Photo Session

The number one tip to get your kids to behave during a photo session

Are you worried about the way your kids will behave during a photo session?

I  am going to share with you one simple tip to get your kids to cooperate during our photo session!

Lots of parents tend to use begging, bribing or even threats to make sure their kids will be behaving during a photo session and  “say cheese” or “act normal” for the camera.

But, do you know what that does? It tends to make kids do the opposite of what you say. I  don’t want you to threaten them with anything or bribe them with ice cream at the end of the session. Especially don’t tell them to “say cheese” or act in any way other than themselves.

Instead, this is what I  want you to say to them…

“On [insert day here] we’re going to meet this super awesome lady named Susanna. She’s going to hang out with us and were going to go to the park/read some books/explore/play/run around [pick the right one for you!] and she’s is going to bring her camera and take some pictures of us having fun!”

Yep.  That’s it.

So, please let’s avoid those forced smiles and let them have fun and enjoy themselves during our session together. This strategy will take the stress out of them and especially out of YOU!

I know, they’re still going to be KIDS, and misbehave or run away when you want them to stay still. And, that is OK! Trust me, I’ve experienced all kinds of behaviors during my sessions and that’s what makes them real and fun!

Still, kids almost always behave better with someone other than their parents. And by the way, this strategy also works well for dads who are not 100% into photo sessions.

If you are interested in a Family photo session, here are the details.

I’d love to plan a session for your family!
