A Double Celebration
When this mama contacted me she mentioned that she loved my photos because they felt REAL and relaxed. And that just made my heart sing! Even though my fee was not in their budget, they still chose me as their photographer as they liked my style the most!
I strive so much for those real everyday moments during my sessions. I know I say it all the time, but my goal is to capture your family as they are, for the kids real smiles to come out while letting their personality shine!
Mama hired me for this session to capture celebrate her son Will turning two-years-old and to document her second pregnancy. As Will was about to become a big brother and she wanted to document those special moments between their family before everything changes for them.
Sometimes kids are not the most cooperative during photo sessions, and it happens more often then not. That is why I prefer full length sessions rather than minis, as you truly can never predict at how the child will behave during the shoot. This session turned out to be one of those, as Will did not want to cooperate with the parents and especially me the stranger with a camera in his face.
As much as parents are always nervous I always promise them that as my job as a photographer to get THE best possible photos no matter what the circumstances are. I look for those special moments of joy in the child and let them take the lead while their family plays with them. Even with Will being his mischievous self the gallery turned out great, wouldn’t you agree?
