Farewell To New York Session in Dumbo, Brooklyn

Susanna! So much "oooooohs" and "ahhhhhs" went on in our house when we saw these pictures. Thank you so much for these beautiful memories of our family! The skyline and Brooklyn Bridge in the background look so awesome. I will cherish these pictures for years to come. You're a fantastic photographer and google reviews will hear about this ;)

Another family is uprooting their life and moving away from New York. As much as I think it is sad, I get it. Because anyone who lives in New York knows how expensive the life here is, I however, cannot picture myself living anywhere else.

When I was contacted by Regina, who coincidentally went to high school with me many moons ago reached out for a family session. She wanted to photograph her family and incorporate the iconic New York City skyline and the Brooklyn Bridge. She also wanted to include her parents and brother in the session before her family moves away from New York.

For this particular session I also advised the Regina with their wardrobe selection. I want every client to feel and look their best, for my hope is that you look at these photos all the time and display them in your home. We looked over many options online for the whole family before settling down on complimentary colors of blues and pinks for the family to look coordinated together.

This session took place during golden hour in the many locations of Dumbo area, capturing the love within the family with the stunning views of New York City. We broke our session in half, first photographing Regina with her two kiddos and then her parents and brother joined us. I like to walk around and take photographs in as many locations as possible to give my session a ton of variety.

I’m so glad that she chose me to document family last days here.
