It is an incredible and amazing experience becoming a mother. The love for your newborn baby is wrapped up by sleepless nights, worried days, feeding, rocking and soothing. These little babies depend on their mothers for everything. It is an emotionally and physically exhausting time for a new mom. 

When you finally com out of it on the other side, once the sleepless newborn days are over you will realize how quickly it all went. Suddenly that tiny human is a walking toddler. 

Because a new mother has enough on her plate to worry about, I make sure to photograph those moments and details during our photo sessions together.

I know you won’t feel your best, you just carried a human in your body for nine months! And you will be tired and sleepy. However that baby is your whole world and someday you will appreciate these photos of you two together so much, looking back and snuggling your infant. My job as your newborn photographer is to get the most flattering angle and to show you the love you have for your baby.

As a newborn photographer I  will obviously take the full family shot. But if you have a camera make sure someone takes a photo with you in it too! In the hospital or at home, you will definitely will have lots of visitors who can snap that photo of YOU and the whole family.

I am sure you will get tons of cute newborn sized outfits gifted to you or bought by you. Most likely more then your baby will ever wear. Make sure you also photograph that tiny naked human and well, and when I come by I’ll take photos of them in their diaper as well. To show off that skinny or chunky newborn phase. 

Your Baby with Your Fur Baby 

Having a doggy myself I know how important your pets are to you. They were your first array into “motherhood”, your first “child” and you are worried and excited to see how they will interact with their new human sibling.
