I imagine life with three kids can be chaotic and hectic, but also fun and rewarding. With that said the idea of just having photos taken can be stressful for a lot of families, especially a big one. As a New York City family photographer my main priority is to make the process as painless and stress-free as possible. So thats why one of my favorite suggestions to make that happen is to have your family session at the comfort of your home.
Being at home makes the whole family comfortable right away as they are in the familiar environment and therefore they are less aware of the camera resulting in images that truly capture real life.
Thats exactly how this Sunday morning session at home with the Y family went. We hung out in the family living room reading books and playing with toys. The building where the family lives has some really nice amenities that include a playroom and a playground were we hung out with the family.
