Every year new phones come out with better and better photo capabilities, so you may think “why would I need to hire a photographer when I can just take photos myself?”
Well, the biggest reason is that you need to get in the frame too! You are an important part of your baby’s life and someday they will treasure the the images they have with you in them.
Whether the dad or the mom is the family’s designated photographer, one of you won’t be in many photos unless you ask your partner. The other person just simply doesn’t think about it.
Having the whole family in the photos is so important. These times with your new bundle of joy are fleeting. Photographing the whole family together in the comfort of your home and loving on each other is my favorite part of the job. If you or your partner switch off the time to take the photos it takes away from the moment. These new cell phones may take great photos, but they don’t print well especially if you want gorgeous wall art.
