As a Brooklyn Lifestyle Family Photographer many of my family sessions take part in Brooklyn Bridge Park, however when this sweet family invited me to their neighborhood park in a totally different part of Brooklyn I jumped at the opportunity to shoot in a different location.
The truth is that where I photograph your family doesn’t matter as much as the connection between you and your family members versus the scenery.
I often encourage families not to choose a location based on the beautify of it but instead let the location have a meaning for them. Whether it’s the streets that they walk on daily by their apartment or a favorite park they frequent. This sweet family choose Domino Park in Williamsburg Brooklyn for their hour long family session with Alimegreendream Photography.
I’ve frequented this park with my family a bunch of times, however I’ve never photographed a family session there. During your sessions with me we move around a lot to capture you in front of various backgrounds and also so the little ones won’t get bored and get their wiggles out.
Your kids can have so much fun in this park on this side of Brooklyn making the session easy and enjoyable for the whole family. During your session with Alimegreendream photography the kids can run on the elevated walkway preserved from the old Domino Sugar Factory, climb a wooden structure and pose for me with the gorgeous skyline behind your whole family. At the end of our session they can have fun in the most unique playground structure.
Throughout the sessions these boys were constantly asking when they can be done and go to play in the playground and my answer to that was soon! The parents and I let the boys be themselves while letting them run around, laugh and joke with each other and the whole family. With some bribery of organic lollipops ( of-course with permission asked from parents) we managed to get some very sweet and organic photos for this family to remember this time of their lives.
